Andrew and Emma’s intimate wedding in the Boston Public Garden was sweet, emotional and set the tone for a really beautiful day. According to Emma, Andrew is a relaxed southern gentleman which balances her fast talking high strung Bostonian-ness and after meeting them both I couldn’t agree more! They are such a balance for one another and so deeply in love. When I walked in to Emma’s getting ready suite, I was immediately welcomed into the family fold and joined into the lively conversation about the season finale of Game of Thrones, while photographing Emma having her hair and makeup being done simultaneously, all while her Mom and Dad got ready too! It was high energy and I thoroughly enjoyed the energy and liveliness that everyone brought to the day.
Emma was escorted by her Mom and Dad during the short walk to the Boston Public Garden where Andrew and about 30 family members waited excitedly. The sweet puppy Lola was there too, and was being wrangled by Andrew’s Dad. Puppy at a wedding? Yes please!
The ceremony was officiated by a dear family friend, Judge Judy, and was exactly what Andrew and Emma wanted. I was honored to be there with them all and see how emotional and excited everyone was. After the wedding a bigger group would be joining them for their dinner at Bistro du Midi, a short walk away from the gardens. We did family photos by the pond, then meandered, just the three of us around the Boston Public Gardens letting the landscape and foggy day inspire us!

Emma’s Jenny Packham gown was STUNNING. I was more than a little obsessed with it, honestly!! The front and back were amazing to look at, and I couldn’t stop photographing it!
With purple being the accent color for their wedding, I thought these purple allium were sent from above for us! Thank you, Mother Nature (and the master gardener for the Boston Public Garden!)
Nothing says Boston Public Garden more than those swan boats! Am I right??
This landscape was stunning, the fog really made it!
Thank you to Emma, Andrew and their families for being so welcoming and allowing me to feel like part of their family! Congrats to you all on uniting your families! XOXOXO
