My most important job as your photographer is to tell the story of your wedding day while making you and your family and friends comfortable.
I believe the more comfortable you are, the better your pictures will be.
My typical client loves their family + friends over anything. Always, always. They value time spent together, and are able to appreciate the quieter moments in their relationships, that strung together, share a story of deep love.
They appreciate beautiful photography, art and design. Someone who lets me do what I do best, and trusts my many years of experience in the industry. Whether you are the most camera-shy person or the biggest ham, there is no cookie-cutter approach to every client.
I will get you comfortable in a way that is best for you.
As a Queer Mexican-American woman, I pride myself on being a welcoming + inclusive photographer + human being and embrace everyone. I am so happy you are here to view my work, stay as long as you’d like and please feel free to leave a comment or share any posts!

I first met Kate years ago while shooting on Block Island- she had walked into my shot and I put my camera down to yell ‘HEY!’ (jokingly of course) and realized it was her and another CT photographer I knew! And on and on over the years, we ran into one another at venues, parks and […]

One of my favorite things about living in Connecticut is its proximity to some pretty amazing locations! We have New York City, Boston, Newport, Vermont, The Hudson River Valley and one of my favorite places: the island of Martha’s Vineyard! Once you step foot off the ferry it’s like you are transported to another […]
What a WEDDING!!! Our day was absolutely filled to the brim with such love and light and happiness from the moment we showed up to literally the moment we left! Amanda + Joe and their families were the most welcoming people ever. They made our whole team feel like a part of the day and […]

When I got the request to photograph Allie + Chris’ wedding this spring I was ecstatic! Amanda + Joe and I spent a sparkly and sunny and just about perfect late afternoon together in Southport for their engagement session… we poked around corners and streets and chased the light and laughed and created some magical portraits full of laughter and their cuteness! There are many charming seaside towns along the Connecticut shoreline […]

When I was but a wee lass back in 1996 and had just graduated from RIT and was studying photojournalism with the high hopes of working for a newspaper when I graduated. Wedding photography was not even on my radar. Wait. Strike that. Reverse it! .. As Willy Wonka Would say! It was on my […]
There are publications and teams that I love working with, and these ladies are at the top of the list! My good friend Amy Blau is the publisher of one of the most super gorgeous magazines ever ever in the world AMEN! called Bliss Celebrations Magazine. When she puts an idea out there for me […]

When Caity + Ryan first reached out to me to do their engagement session, it was just for that. They didn’t have firm plans for their wedding laid out and wanted to make sure they had time to get some photographs taken in the height of fall in CT and I was more than game. […]
Jessica + Jeremy had the most intimate, perfect wedding at one of my favorite resorts, The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. I have done many weddings there, and they vary from the whole shebang of 150 people and all the bells and whistles to an intimate dinner for 20 or even more intimate […]

I was so excited to meet up with Megan + Tim for their engagement session last fall. The day was perfect, the light was working for me and I was so inspired by the location! We poked around their property in the rolling hills of Woodbury, CT and it was just filled with so many […]
