Karyn and Yury’s magnificent summer wedding at the Lord Thompson Manor was, well, MAGNIFICENT! Their wedding is also my first foray back into blogging my weddings after a brief hiatus from March of 2021 while I redid my entire website this Spring + Summer.
Telling the story of my couples through their photographs is something that I am really passionate about. While I do agree that a picture is worth 1,000 words, I also think the stories you learn along the way shape how their photographic story is told. Karyn and Yury live in London and had family from all over the world fly in to celebrate their marriage. The energy was alive and intense and beautiful, just check their dancing photos for proof!
We started their wedding day at the stunning, all white spa where Karyn and her ladies had their hair and makeup done. I love the crisp white contrast of the spa to the rich, deep tones of the actual Lord Thompson Manor itself. Check out how CRISP and DELISH this spa area is!

A friend who is also an opera singer sang a Beatles song for Karyn, Yury and all their guests, it was really moving!
I am always keeping my eye on the light, always always always and even sometimes I’m watching the smoke, too!
Everyone was SO ready to dance and party and they started right outta the RIP with the announcements!
Making time for your group photos of your college friends, or work friends or your Scrabble Group can be a really fun time!
Karyn and Yury have one of the most dancing heavy blog posts I’ve posted in a long time. There was just SO much energy and excitement on that dance floor! It was so fun to be a part of it all, because you all should know I was dancing while photographing it!
