A Goodwin Hotel wedding in Hartford CT, filled with modern white details, gorgeous florals and the happiest couple is the BEST way to spend a Saturday for me! I LOVE my hometown of Hartford CT so much. The venue options here are really unique and beautiful and tap into the rich history that Hartford has. One of my absolute favorites is The Goodwin Hotel. It closed down in 2008 and I was always so hopeful that it would live to see another wedding or event again. I had my senior prom there and it was MAGICAL! Lucky for us all The Goodwin Hotel in Hartford reopened even more beautiful than before! The decor is gorgeous and the perfect space for your wedding or event.
Lauren and Anthony had been waiting to host their wedding since before Covid, so when I say they were ready to party, I really mean it! Their big, fun wedding party was ready to go from the moment we showed up, and everyone was all laughs. It really helped set the tone for a really fun day for everyone. Their theme for their much anticipated wedding was modern glamour and was designed by Diana Chouinard of Jubilee Events in Cheshire, CT. The space at The Goodwin Hotel was absolutely perfect for this theme, and I was all in and so excited for it! Lauren’s wedding gown, designed by Carolina Herrera, was STUNNING. The bow detail in the back left my heart racing with excitement, it was so gorgeous!!

Then you add these delicious green shoes to the party and I just about lose my mind. They tied in beautifully with the bridesmaids gowns perfectly!
Lauren’s bridesmaids added a special charm of her grandmother on her wedding bouquet as a surprise. She was overtaken with emotion when she saw it!
This guy! Anthony is one of the sweetest guys, I loved watching him with his friends, the love each other so openly and laugh and joke constantly.

We had time to bop around Hartford for their wedding photos so I tucked and rolled us over to The Mark Twain House in Hartford CT. We’re neighbors! The Mark Twain house is absolutely gorgeous in the fall and made for a beautiful backdrop for their photos.
On our way back through to The Goodwin Hotel I had my eye on the State Library, and was hoping these majestic steps would have the right lighting when we would be driving by…. as it happens it did!
It was beautiful, wonderful chaos for a moment there… and I was just taking it alllllll in LOL

Anthony really wanted to get some photos at The Soldier’s and Sailor’s Memorial Arch in Hartford and I was down to clown! When we were pulling up I saw 3 weddings there doing photos, with this one big group there already. Time was tight… I was like.. OK, we can give it a try, and Anthony said heck yes let’s go! As we walked up the other wedding was just finishing, so we joined them and as it happens their wedding photographer was a friend of mine, Jacek Dolek! We hugged it out and had everyone get together for a big photo before we did our thing! What a fun moment in an already fun packed day!
These portraits made me so so happy! These two were having a ball and I loved it!

The band, AffinityNYC was OFF THE HOOK AMAZING. LIKE. WOW. And I see A LOT of bands at all of the weddings and events that I do. They had INCREDIBLE energy, talent and flow. Not one second of dead space or quiet!! They kept me energized all night I hope I get to see them again at another event!
