Rachel and Rob had been planning their intimate wedding at Winvian Farm in Morris CT way before covid hit. Their wedding at Winvian was the only wedding I didn’t have to adjust or literally change a thing for, except wearing a mask and staying farther away than normal. What a blessing! Their wedding was perfect. Even the threat of rain during our portrait time before the cocktail party began was nothing crazy. Rachel had the best mindset and was open for anything I suggested. Since it was just spattering out I suggested we just take what we could outside before the rain, and we got everything we needed just in time for the rain as we popped into the spa for some photos.

I got to pop into the barn which had the doors open and a tent set up on the side for the dinner. Beth from Blush Floral Design in Madison CT worked her romantic magic all over the Winvian Farm property. She transformed the space into such a romantic spot, I couldn’t help grabbing photos before I went over to photograph Rachel and Rob getting ready.

Rachel and Rob had already gotten married at their home earlier in the month, so they decided to get ready together in their Charter Oak suite. It literally has a tree growing right in the middle of it! I love the space so much.

We took a little break in the spa for some photos while the skies opened up and watered all of the gardens. We know, we needed the rain but can you hurry it up Mother Nature!

The rain stopped and so we poked around the property more.
