Jessica + Jeremy had the most intimate, perfect wedding at one of my favorite resorts, The Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. I have done many weddings there, and they vary from the whole shebang of 150 people and all the bells and whistles to an intimate dinner for 20 or even more intimate ceremony for 6! I love the variety of celebrations I have been able to experience here, and this one is by far at the top of the list. They had their ceremony in the herb garden overlooking the ocean, and we could hear the distant crash of the waves while they exchanged their vows. I mean.. give me a break!!! Can this get any more romantic, I ask you? Their chuppah was a handmade quilt that was just gorgeous (and I have to say practical!) as it offered just the perfect amount of shade for them to stand under!
After Jessica + Jeremy exchanged vows and sealed it with a kiss and a ketubah signing, we got to spend some time exploring the property for some portraits! The sun sank lower in the sky, we talked, laughed and got to sink our toes in the sand while creating some magical photographs that really showed how in love these two are. I honestly could not have asked for a more loving, patient and happy couple to spend the afternoon with, and to this day, we still shoot off texts to one another. I brought along my second shooter Joel Callaway certainly not because I couldn’t handle such a large party… but mostly because I wanted him to experience a meal there.. the chef is out of this world talented! Jessica and Jeremy had their dinner at the chef’s table and Joel and I stuffed ourselves at the restaurant and it was one of the most memorable meals I have ever had… I can’t recommend it enough!
