One of my favorite things about my job (aside from having wonderful clients to work with, of course!) is getting to travel. Now, I am sure you all think immediately about exotic trips, or Paris or places far far away. Which are awesome, no doubt and most certainly a job perk that I enjoy…. but what I am talking about is getting to travel in my sweet little state of Connecticut! There are so many cute, quintessential little New England towns right here in this little state (I mean, we are the third smallest state in the US… a fact I just read on someone’s refrigerator recently!) and you would think with me being a life long resident I would have had a chance to have explored many of them… right? Well, that’s not always how it works! Take the town of Essex, for example. What a cute town!! I am, and have been kind of obsessed with Essex for a little bit… and any chance I get to pop in and shoot, well… I take it! Spending the afternoon with Cecile and Travis for their engagement session was such a treat for me. We had perfect weather, and perfect little spots to duck in and photograph at. And I love their love story and watching how kind they are to each other and how comfortable they are being photographed together! All in all it was the perfect set up for their wedding at The Ocean House in Watch Hill Rhode Island, which ended up being nothing less than absolutely spectacular!
