The Bee and Thistle Inn, in Old Lyme CT hosted Annie and Chris’ wedding and was one of the most emotional weddings I have ever photographed. Maybe it was the connection I made with Annie before, or maybe it was watching the love and adoration that Annie and Chris had for one another during their engagement session in New Haven that made me even more excited for their wedding? I’m not entirely sure, but what I do know is how openly Annie and Chris showed their love and adoration for one another, every smile, every tear, all of it. They celebrated Chris reconnecting with his family on a new level, and the merging of their families together, that beautiful day by the river. I was moved to tears a few times that day, as I watched my new friends proclaim their undying love for everyone to see. It was an epic, beautiful day, and it gives me hope for my own heart- that someday I will have a love like theirs! It was definitely something to aspire to, and I invite you all to look at their images and just let the love in!
Not to mention getting to work with the amazing Tosh at the Bee! She is hands down the master of the day, handling every little detail for my clients with calm grace. I adore her beyond words!
Annie and Chris, thank you for trusting me with your day, for inviting me into your hearts and lives. I am so glad that we are still friends, and look forward to creating more memories with your family! XOXO
