Another Lord Thompson Manor wedding in the books? YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
Lord Thompson Manor is literally my favorite venue to photograph at for weddings. It feels like a home away from home for me, because hello I grew up in a gorgeous estate in the woods (literally no I did not LOL) It feels like home for me because of the people who run the weddings there. Jackie, Andrew, Ted, Janice and the staff always greet me with a smile and a warm embrace every time I arrive. We breathe a collective sigh of relief because we know the other is in good hands for the whole day. Most importantly: our CLIENTS are in the best hands for their wedding weekend at Lord Thompson.
When Edie and I met over zoom, I knew we had a connection. Her energy is simply UNMATCHED. She radiates pure joy, excitement and love from every ounce of her body! She has such unbridled excitement for life, love and things that make her happy. I knew we were a match immediately.
On her wedding day at Lord Thompson, she came to life for me in true, bright technicolor. Her energy was on fire! Laughter, tears, chanting for people she wanted to show love and appreciation for, it was all there. I have to say, I dabble in my fair share of joy and high vibes and felt at home, cared for and truly appreciated for what I was bringing to Edie and Max’s Lord Thompson Manor wedding.

I am a sucker for a first look with the Dads on the morning of the wedding. Edie’s Dad was so happy to see her, all gussied up and ready to marry Max.
It’s no secret to literally anyone I have photographed before that I can get very…excited… when things are just vibing and clicking and looking amazing! I saw Max here, basking in this light looking SO DAPPER during our portraits and I just couldn’t contain my excitement! Which makes people just laugh, literally AT me, which I am A-Ok with, honestly. Keep in mind- his gaggle of groomsmen were literally all standing right behind me, egging him on, so for Max to be able to keep any kind of straight face was super impressive!
At Lord Thompson Manor, literally NO detail gets overlooked. Zero. Zilch. NADA. Feeling a little nip during your ceremony? Grab a warm cozy blanket, that just so happens to be artfully draped over chairs in the ceremony! Not to mention the row if heat lamps to keep you toasty. Drinks are flowing, food is plentiful, florals are abundant and a feast for the eyes and nose…. I could go on and on and on!
Just some fun dancing photos to round out the day! Edie and Max, congratulations on your wedding. Literally everything was beautiful! Thank you for trusting me with your wedding XO
