After two years of planning and re planning their Autumn Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding, my clients Jessica and Mick were FINALLY able to exchange their vows! It’s sadly a story that too many couples can identify with (and wedding professionals!) When their party finally happened the joy and excitement was palpable, along with some bittersweet feelings as most of Mick’s family in Ireland couldn’t make it because of travel restrictions due to Covid. Mick kept a brave face on the whole weekend and was fully present for every moment he spent reveling with his family that was there and friends, and his beautiful and sweet wife, Jessica.
Jessica and I have spent hours on the phone chatting and planning and plotting. From our cancelled trip to Ireland in July 2020- which can we put that back into the universe to happen again, please and thank you! To pre planning for their engagement session, welcome party and autumn wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, we have some hours logged in on the phone! To FINALLY meet in person and get to hug and laugh together…. wow. It just gelt so surreal and so welcome. I feel like I know Jessica and Mick so well now, like we could travel to Ireland and pop into pubs and meander down little windy alleyways and romp around in sun soaked fields together. Man, I sound like a total third wheel here but camera in hand, I know I can and will document so many more amazing images with them both! Just ask Sal, Jessica’s Dad who accompanied us on our whirlwind engagement session on Friday evening before their welcome party! That post is to come soon, I promise!
So to say we were ALL anxious and excited and so relieved for their wedding is an understatement. And let em tell you, their day did NOT disappoint!

The day began at Saltwater Farm, in the bridal suite. The first thing I saw when I walked in were Jessica’s shoes. GAH. YES. I ACCEPT!
For anyone wondering, my sweet little flats are Rothy’s and I swear by them! Made from recycled plastic, machine washable and super comfortable, they are my wedding day go to shoes!! I love showing a little behind the scenes of here’s where we are, here’s what I got!
Beautiful Jessica!
Wedding day tip: put your earrings on AFTER you are dressed. I love this shot so much!
The wedding professionals I recommend are only the highest caliber. Erica Martell and Renee Russo are two of the BEST. Not only is the work they do, but in their demeanor, their energy and how special and pampered they make you feel. Here Erica was giving Jessica her day of touch up bag filled with special treats to stay fresh all day!
If you don’t want to literally DIVE HEAD FIRST into these luscious florals by KLW Design CO. then you are simply DEAD INSIDE!!! They were out of this world delish. Filled with texture and little secrets and surprises!

I have to say autumn at Saltwater Farm for a wedding is my most favorite time!
More delightful details from KLW…!
Also, I might refuse to photograph any weddings here at Saltwater Farm if people don’t utilize these lights! They really make ALL THE DIFFERENCE!!!!!
Jessica and Mick zoomed in their family and friends in Ireland! HELLO EVERYONE!!!!
Juuuust in case you forgot how AMAZING her flowers were. Hi.
Also. HELLO GORGEOUS LIGHT
This light made me scream.
To pay homage to his Irish-ness they hired Irish Step Dancers to perform while they were announced in!
But wait! THERE’S MORE! This guy decided to SING his bride into their first dance!!! Oh I *should tell you all that Mick is an actor (and singer) and I am just seeing that he was in a miniseries that I LOVED ‘I know this much is true’ written by CT’s own Wally Lamb, one of my most favorite authors and featuring Mark Ruffalo whowon an Emmy for his performance as two people (twin brothers) in the show! OH MY GOD MICK YOU ARE MY HERO!!! (I just lost my mind)
I love when there are live painters at events, I can’t wait to see Al’s finished product!
Jessica’s Dad Sal was such a sweetie. I am so happy I got to know him during the weekend!
Mick proposes again and Jessica said ‘I do-nut’ (cue the laughter)
Jessica and Mick LOVE soccer so of course they had matching Adidas Sambas, in navy, thank you very much!
Jessica and Mick. What do I even say?? I WILL SEE YOU SOON BECAUSE WE ARE BESTIES NOW OK THANKS BYEEEEE!!! Can’t wait to visit you both in NYC and have so many more adventures together again!! I love you both!!!!!!
