Taylor and Ben’s autumn wedding at The Fields at Van Wilgen’s Grande Center in North Branford CT could not have been on a more perfect day. I know I say that a lot, and hopefully I am not jinking myself now by saying it again, but GUYS it was so true! Down to the time that it started to get the teeniest bit crisp and people had to grab their soft fleecy blankets that Taylor and Ben provided for them… it was just what fall in New England is all about. We started their wedding day at Taylor’s family home with her gaggle of gorgeous bridesmaids. Laughter, champagne, toasts, tears… it was the best way to set the tone for the day. See, I live in my childhood home and am still acutely aware of all of the sentiment that lives in each room. Imagining having my wedding photos taken in my home just fills my heart so much, I was so excited to capture Taylor and her Mom and Dad there, hearts so full and present.

Taylor’s super crafty Dad hand made this wooden ring box for Taylor. I loved this special and meaningful detail so much!
While I was with the ladies, my second photographer Nikki was with Ben and the guys at The Madison Beach Hotel in Madison, CT.
There was so much space for the ladies to get ready, so much beautiful light! Taylor’s wedding dress was STUNNING. So classic and beautiful with all of those buttons and the sleeves.
Taylor’s Dad was my kind of guy- emotionally present for every moment. He was full of joy, love and sentimentality and I was enamored.
The clouds were in place at just the right time for our first look with Ben right outside Taylor’s childhood home.
There wa some gorgeous fall color right across the way so we made our way over to do some wedding day portraits together.
After doing our portraits at Taylor’s home, we headed to The Fields at Van Wilgen’s Garden Center in North Branford CT for a few more portraits before everyone arrived for the wedding!
There is a beautiful pond on the property that makes a stunning backdrop for photos!
As guests started arriving for their wedding at The Fields at Van Wilgen’s Garden Center, I took Taylor and Ben and we ducked into some of the greenhouses for some photos. The light along the back edge of them was soooooo dreamy!
In perfect fall theme, Gourmet Galley had these little mini cider donuts and hot cider for guests as they arrived!
These three cuties were super excited to lead everyone down the aisle, rings and signs in hand!
Van Wilgen’s Garden Center is such a gorgeous backdrop for a fall event, check it out!
Not sure what was put in the pouch for Ben to ‘break’ but…. maybe it got broken another way after he tossed it! After 20 years of weddings, this was a first!
Taylor, Ben and their family and friends danced the night away under the warm tent and had the BEST time!
Their expressions here are pretty priceless!!
The perfect fall weather, a touching ceremony, and a night of wild dancing pretty much sun up Taylor and Ben’s wedding at The Fields at Van Wilgen’s Garden Center. Congratulations to you both, Taylor and Ben, mazel tov!
