Photographing a few of Ali’s friends led her to me, and being her wedding photographer – but it was their friends that set them up at a bar in Fort Lauderdale and brought them together! Despite being long distance, their love hold fast. No matter that it was a New York / Florida love, which is FAR! Once Ali and Adam realized how happy they were when they were together the deal was done, and despite Adam saying he would never leave the Sunshine State again, here he is, back in New York! Love will do that to you…! Their love for one another is so palpable and real, I can see it with my eyes, on their faces, in Ali’s GIANT laugh and constant smile, and in the quiet way that Adam looks at Ali when he thinks no one else is watching. Loud love, quiet love. I love the balance emotionally and visually. I love that despite the chaos of a wedding day there are still those tender moments to be had amidst the revelry. I also love the full circle moments of seeing my clients Melissa + Karate Mike at the wedding (and in the wedding, Melissa was a bridesmaids!) and having a moment to sit with them and catch up and snuggle. Being someones wedding photographer is such an intimate job, and for the days leading up and to the actual day we are bonded, and in each others private, intimate space. It’s an emotional job that I love so much. I get to Mother my couples, help them with the day and timelines and what’s next and what to expect and when to just go take a break and be alone. It’s a special space to share with my clients and I adore the emotional rush I get each and every time. Congrats Ali and Adam and thank you so much for allowing me full access into your space, and your hearts! XOXO

The wedding parties reaction to seeing Ali dressed for the firs time, how cute is this!!!
My favorite: shy flower girls! But these boys were hams on another level, also a favorite of mine!
For some reason, when Adam’s brother walked down the aisle he was smiling so HARD and everyone was just cracking up! It was such a great ice breaker!
I love how reserved and quiet Ali is…! ha!
All of the things are going on in this image… that little scowl or ‘dance face’ is the best!
Me with Melissa and her hubs Karate Mike!!
