I first met up with Lindsey almost two years before her wedding. We ‘met’ on the phone, as most of my clients and I do these days, and instantly hit it off! We talked for a few hours and could have literally still been on the phone if we didn’t have to hang up. I’m serious! Lindsey has such a passion and love of the arts, and works for a really amazing company called The Caliber Collection, that uses serial number from illegal guns and metal from shell casings to create a unique line of products. They donates 20% of the net proceeds to fund voluntary gun buyback and amnesty programs in some of the toughest cities in America. To date, they have taken over 1,000 illegal guns off the streets and have raised approximately $100,000 for police departments in Newark, Hartford, the San Francisco Bay Area and Detroit. (make sure you go ‘like’ their page on Facebook and support them, they are amazing!) When I showed up at her suite to start working, Lindsey presented me with a bracelet from the collection that was from a gun from Hartford! I was so touched, and wear it almost every day.
Lindsey + Randy’s friends (and they were a big group!) were energetic, fun and SPARKLY and helped me have the most amazing day working with them all. Although it was quite chilly out, the sun was shining and Lindsey + Randy (who was suffering from a terrible cold) were up for anything, they are huge photography fans!
Thank you all for such a fun wedding and such amazing hospitality, Joel and I had such a great time working with you all and wish you all the best!
