There is no time I enjoy more than the tail end of summer, right as fall starts to kick in and change the leaves, and the temperatures, and our mindset as we start preparing for fall and the holidays. It’s when kids go back to school, boots start coming back into our daily wardrobe and sweaters make their way out of the closets. I love this time of year so much, and any chance I get to be outside and enjoy a warm day with clients on the beach, well. That is just the icing on my seasonal cake! Allie + Chris will be married next spring, so we decided to do their engagement session while it was still warm out! We settled on Silver Sands State Park in Milford and we could not have had a better afternoon to poke around the beach!
My favorite spot we discovered was this glow-y little bush of thistles that had just sprouted and were all back lit by the setting sun…! It was literally like a beacon to me, calling me in the distance and as I got closer I was like… hold UP, this is super pretty let’s get all up in that! Allie + Chris were so game for is, and we had a blast getting some of my favorite images from our session there!
