Last fall, I had the pleasure of photographing Galini and Brian at Hartford City Hall on a crisp fall day, when the sun was still warm in the sky and the leaves were just starting to flutter elegantly to the ground. You can see their engagement post HERE! That afternoon I got to see first hand how kind and gentle they were with one another. I saw how respectful they were, and then how easily they could make the other laugh. Watching these interactions is always a special peek for me, and gives me something to look forward to seeing in full force on their wedding day! Their wedding was a warm-ish bordering on too hot but never quite making it there day.. with a perfect light breeze that kept us cool all day! We started with the hustle and bustle of getting ready, and everyone was calm and ready for the wedding, it was awesome! Their ceremony was at the beautiful Greek Orthodox Church in New Britain, and I am so happy with the little moments I was able to get! These two had the best wedding party there to while the day away whether they were laughing on the party bus or dancing the night away at the Boathouse and Joel and I both enjoyed working with everyone! The light we were given that day just blew us all away and we had so much fun creating some magical and emotional images they will both be able to treasure for years to come! This is my ultimate goal as a wedding photographer, to be able to tell their story through photographs that make people smile, cry and laugh as they revisit the day! Congrats Galini + Brian!! XOXO
