Castle Hill Inn, in Newport Rhode Island, is quickly turning into one of my most favorite wedding venues to photograph at…! From the amazing staff there (who doesn’t love Jeremy?) to the epic, sweeping views of the river, to the killer sunsets you are treated to like the best gift from above… I mean honestly, why wouldn’t you want to work here? Kristen and Matt had the most perfect day for their outdoor wedding at Castle Hill. We had the wonderful Stephanie Frasier-Grimm from Couture Parties in Newport as our spirit guide for the whole event and we couldn’t have been happier.. we adore her and her team of hard working planners! Kristen’s gown was Peter Langner from Kleinfeld’s in NYC and it was one of my favorite gowns ever ever ever… so gorgeous, feminine and different, it was a dream to photograph and she was so stunning!! Not to be outdone, dapper Mister Matt was pretty spectacular looking himself and he and his guys were up for anything we threw at them that day, even walking down into a craggy little nook with slippery wedding shoes on! Thanks for taking one for the team guys!
The florals from Sayles Livingston Designs was over the top gorgeous as well, paired with the lighting from my great friends at Ryan Designs… I was in love with the lighting!! Go look. I know it may sound weird but watch, you will love it too! Their day was perfect, filled with so much love and emotion (I loved their ceremony and the music was to die for!) and just how openly they showed how much they cared for one another, it was obvious, and sweet and real. I am happy for you both as you embark on your year of firsts as a married couple, you are both so wonderful together and I am so happy I get to see you again at your sister Allie’s wedding this spring!
