bliss celebrations magazine styled shoot at blithewold newport

One of my favorite creative outlets I get as a photographer is doing styled shoots with my creative partners. One of my favorites is Bliss Celebrations Magazine. I have known Amy Blau, the publisher since she started the magazine, and had the absolute honor of having my work on three of their six covers. They are so loyal to me and supportive and this translates to them giving me freedom to show up at a styled shoot for their magazine with nothing but a smile on! Well, trust me, I am still rocking my nerdy fanny pack camera bag, don’t be fooled! Amy assembles the best team of fellow wedding vendors and allows us the space to create something truly beautiful that they can feature in her magazine. It’s always a fun time, we always have to reconfigure something or other because the light isn’t right or we ended up finding a space that was a tad more inspiring or even better the light starts to do something even more fantastic than you imagined and everything you are working on comes to a complete HALT and we get to flail about in the warm golden light and create some fantastic images together! Phew! There is nothing quite like that feeling and if I’m lucky I get to experience that squeal party at every session I do!
