This blog post has been a long time coming! It was two years ago that Kristin + John tied the knot in Boston at one of the coolest venues I have worked at, The Artists for Humanity building in Boston. It is filled with character, gorgeous light and artwork for days and made just the most epic space for me to spend a day capturing the love that these two have for one another! Their event design was flawless and coordinated so many personal touches mixed with vibrant color! I loved discovering all of the little visual treats Kristin had in store for us as we worked! I got to know Kristin by way of her sister, Julie, who worked for my studio for a few years. I grew to love their family and even had my kids do a sleepover with Julie and her Mom (where Donna Mo taught my Gigi how to knit!) The Morawski family has such a special place in my heart and I am beyond proud to see where my girl Julie has taken her photography these days, she has a truly beautiful gift for seeing!
The wedding day was spent with much laughter as myself, and former C10 Studios Associate photographer Jasmine Balgobin (who is also doing some really amazing things outside of the photography world with her new company called The Good Vessel) and our trusty sidekick Ryan Lamb. We always found ways to laugh and have the best time while working, and this wedding was no exception! Add to this the stellar line-up of creative partners like the ladies from Whim Events (I adore working with them, they are so talented and so beyond organized!!) and man, that caterer… I can STILL remember the food! Holy moly…! Check them out! From glitter and confetti, to beautiful personal touches, including a heart shaped Beatles record! this wedding sent me over the moon and beyond where I landed squarely in the lap of happiness! Thank you for choosing me to document your wedding, it was truly such an honor! XOXOXO
