Danielle and Victor’s intimate wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT was amazing. The weather was so perfect I kept pinching myself to make sure it was real. Can you look at those blue skies? For Danielle and Victor to be able to have their wedding during this Covid pandemic on such a brilliant and perfect day felt like a gift, for us all. This year has been hard, for me, my family, my business, my clients, so many people. Having these intimate micro weddings feels like sunshine on my face after a long, hard cold rain. I stand there, fully present, fully absorbing each moment like it’s a precious gift.
An even bigger bonus is that Danielle and Victor are related to one of my long time clients turned friends, Stephanie and Mike. This relationship for me sums up so much of what I love about what I do. Meeting clients, hearing their story, being present for their commitment to one another and then keeping our connections alive with maternity sessions, professional head shots, family sessions. Danielle and Victor and their wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT brought that all full circle for me, and I was fully there for it.

Victor and I had some time alone before Danielle arrived for their first look. We got to bop around the carousel at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT . I was so inspired by the light and the space and the carousel. Not to mention this amazing hunter green suit that Victor wore from JT Ghamo. Ohhh la la!
When Danielle arrive din a vintage Rolls Royce she had a smile from ear to ear that shone about as bright as the sun that day!
I could see Victor tearing up when he knew it was time to see his almost wife, Danielle at their wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT.
Bring on all the emotion, I say! Don’t ever ever hold back around me!
The carousel was so inspiring for photos, I could spend time creating alllll day!
Can you all understand what I am telling you here?? Just look t Danielle and that gown and that light! WOW!
While photographing them I saw tears shining in Victor’s eyes. It brought me to tears, with how open and vulnerable he was being. Just being so fully present with his wife, in the light.
The had a super small, super intimate wedding ceremony right in front of the lighthouse at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven CT.
After their ceremony we did a few more portraits on the beach. It was so lovely out we just had to!
Look. At. That. SKYYYYYYY!!
I played their first dance song on my phone, and had them dance here. Just them. And me. And their song. And that light…!
Danielle and Victor, thank you for trusting me at your intimate ceremony. Thank you for trusting my vision and giving yourselves to me fully and just letting it all fly free and wild!
