There is nothing quite like a wedding in Connecticut in the Fall… can’t you almost just smell the crisp air and hear the leaves crackle under your feet as you walk? I am a CT girl through, and through and when I tell you there is nothing quite like it… trust me! Sarah and Peter got married at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury CT on a drizzly Autumn day which did not dampen our spirits at all! In fact, it actually added to the romantic feel of the portraits and made them a little more romantic, in my opinion… 🙂 The day went so smoothly, and everything looked amazing- can you even deal with her gown?? And those flowers?? Yeah, me neither! I absolutely loved how the gown faded into the blush-y bottom color part.. it was so dreamy and I could hardly take my eyes off her all day! Not to mention that she is one of the most sweet people I have ever met, who just went with the flow was so relaxed and in love with Peter. It was a great way to spend a day, surrounded by beautiful things, and happy, people in love! One of the highlights was getting to see Jo Lawry sing during the reception, Sarah + Peter are HUGE fans! If you have not heard her, you should definitely check her out..! If I remember correctly I believe she toured with Sting! And believe me, I can see (and hear!) why!
A big thank you to all of my amazing creative partners for the day, they went above and beyond and helped make this day even more magical for Sarah and Peter! XOXO
