Tyrone Farm Pomfret CT Wedding with Carla Ten Eyck

The Tyrone Farm wedding of Jessie and Zack in Pomfret CT was the stuff that my dreams are made of! Romantic, beautiful, with every little touch point thought of… I was in pure heaven from the moment that I showed up on property until I left! Jessie did her research, and was relentless in her quest to assemble a group of creatives who spoke to her vision for her wedding to Zack. I would have to say, she done GOOD! The second those flowers – crafted by the uber talented ladies of Stems Floral Design- showed up… I just about dove into the van and crowd surfed on them! I mean. So textured and layered and soft and just ethereal! They were perfection and the very things I dream of at night…. that… and groves of ferns nodding in the breeze, but that’s another story altogether!

Every little thing was considered, weighted, thought of, and attended to. Jessie and her vision just put me over the edge, and I was in a photographer’s heaven as I navigated the day, crafting images that reflected back the beauty and love that was there.

Despite the obvious beauty of the day, my most favorite moment was when we were in the field at Tyrone Farm with Jessie and her bridesmaids creating some portraits when BAM! Out of nowhere, her sister bit the DUST and toppled over! My instincts kicked in, and while still photographing I confirmed she was OK, but just had to keep taking pictures! They all laughed so hard, her included, and it kept em chuckling the entire rest of the day and long long after!
