When I was asked to fly to Seattle to photograph The Bachelorette’s (aka Desiree Hartsock!) engagement session with Chris Siegfried, I was beyond. Like, WAY. Even though I had not really watched the show, I knew from my many friends that did watch it that Desiree was one of the sweetest contestants ever. And that despite any drama on the show, Chris was really the best match for her in the end! I can attest to that as I got to spend some quality time with them both at the stunning Willows Lodge in Seattle! Despite the rain we had such a great time meandering around the property and ducking out of the chilly rain! Desiree was such a trooper and didn’t complain one time about being cold, although… to be fair she did have Chris to snuggle in to!
I really enjoyed seeing how easy they were together, they laughed quick and snuggled like they have been together for years! They didn’t take themselves too seriously and were just so appreciative and happy to have their photos taken on such a pretty property! Big shout out to my friends Dustin + Supra at Capstory for bringing me to Seattle to be on this amazing team of wedding professionals for Desiree and Chris’ engagement session and engagement party! Keep your eyes out for that post coming next week!
Also. Yes. While we were shooting a really sweet woman came out and gave us… a rose. ha ha! Desiree + Chris were such good sports about using it and I actually kinda like the shot we got here of them just being goofy with it!
