When I walked into the suite where Courtney was getting ready I just about fell over. She was absolutely GORGEOUS and her gown just about knocked me off my feet! Way to go Amsale! It was the best way to start their day and I was in it and beyond excited to spend the day with Courtney and Pete and their families! Despite the rain which seemed to follow us from their engagement session (no matter! we still got amazing photos!) we had a wonderful time showcasing the weather and how in love both Courtney and Pete are with each other… from the way they tenderly looked at one another just about all day, to the full on belly laughs during toasts, their day was epic and amazing. Her Dad cracked me up at every point and had the entire joint in stitches during his toast! So much laughter, it was a wonderful day and I was just so happy to be a part of it!
I loved bopping around the quaint, perfect hamlet of Essex, and I have to tell you it’s even perfect in the rain!! We had a blast popping into the Griswold Inn to stay dry and grab a drink and do some portraits… and then once we got to the Saybrook Point Inn we braved the docks in the rain and got some of my most favorite images! I loved how down to clown Courtney and Pete were for photos, it made the day even more fun and we got some really beautiful photographs that they will have forever!
Thank you both so much for welcoming me into your families for your day! Congratulations to you both! XOXO
