One of my favorite weddings of all time has got to be the wedding of Diane and Susan. Their love story started 30 years ago on the day they decided to make it official, and forever linked their hearts and souls to one another, officially, anyway, since they had long since given in to loving one another wholeheartedly years ago. It was beautiful weather, and they were surrounded by the most loving and excited group of friends and family. I took special note of this, because I have photographed some weddings where the family doesn’t approve of same sex marriages and aren’t there standing up to support the union, and it is heartbreaking. Today was different, there was so much laughing and light, so many hugs and smiling and joy. It was a perfect day, my heart was filled just being there with them both, and seeing how absolutely in love they were with one another. They made me feel like family, from the second we met, and still. I love seeing their happy life unfold before me on social media and look forward to the day I will see them both again! I wish we all could be surrounded by energy like theirs, so giving, always thinking about others! I am so happy for you both, I wish you continued love and light forever! XO
