Hanna and Kathryn’s wedding at the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center in Providence, Rhode Island was the kind of day that felt joyful from start to finish.

Surrounded by lush greenery and glowing glasshouse light, their celebration was vibrant, emotional, and completely true to who they are as a couple. The botanical gardens created the dreamiest backdrop, with tropical plants, soft natural textures, and beautiful architectural lines that made every candid moment feel alive and full of energy.

What I loved most was how intentional they were about creating a space that felt welcoming and inclusive, filled with laughter, happy tears, and the kind of connection you can’t stage. Hanna is a talented cross stitch artist and even lovingly crafted each table number by hand!

Their Providence botanical garden wedding was a perfect reminder that when couples feel safe, seen, and free to celebrate openly, the photographs naturally become joyful, colorful, and deeply meaningful.

"My wife and I really wanted to find a photographer who was both a part of our community as well as a fun person to be around for our big day. We hired Carla for both engagement photos and for our wedding and she was AMAZING!! She made us both feel fantastic in front of the camera and we were laughing the entire time. When we didn't know what to do, she had suggestions and plans ready to make sure we were as stress free as possible.
