The Great Gatsby movie opens this weekend, and to much fanfare- more for the fashion or for the actual movie, who knows! There is something so romantic about the fashion and styling of this era, and to be able to do an editorial shoot that was Gatsby-Inspired was like a total no-brainer for me! What’s not to love? Visually I was overwhelmed with deep red lipsticks, feathers, texture, opulence on every level- from the styling of every little detail that our model Liane wore to the rich, beautiful paper and the stunning florals… I was on visual overload! And I loved every, single second!
Now on these shoots we tend to be over achievers and shoot for multiple things- ad campaigns coming up for our businesses, among many other things- and I am proud to say we pulled off a total of SEVEN looks in this short, late fall afternoon! I am a beast when it comes to tight like a tiger time management on editorial shoots, and with the collaboration of stylist Beth Chapman of the White Dress by the Shore, DD Nickel on beauty and Jennie Kay on hair, well, we got ‘er done, son! I was pretty much out of breath by the end of the shoot, I am not gonna lie!
Huge hugs and love to these two amazing models (who are an actual couple!) Liane and Alex! I can’t tell you how much I love you both, for real!!
Here was our super amazing team for the day, I can’t even tell you how much I love working with all of these talented folks!!

This shot is one of my faves. Like. BLAAAHHHHHHH…….. that’s a weird word but I can’t really translate my shouting here properly…!
I am a behind the scenes LOVER, and was grateful to have my friend, C10 Studio production manager and all around talent Mr. Andrew Henderson on the task of documenting our shoot! You are all so thankful that there is no sound to these images. So thankful! We laugh a lot on shoots… I am very easily excitable!!
I love enlisting the help of anyone I can during a shoot! thanks Chole!!!
Nichole made these sweet little boxes with champagne and sweet treats!
This headpiece??? I want to wear it around the house! Every day!
My girl Beth Chapman came over while I was shooting this and kept me from rolling off the ledge! And so she could peek…!
I can’t thank everyone enough for all of their hard work, talent, dedication and most of all humor on all of these shoots, this one was over the top amazing!!!
XOXOXOXO
