There is something wildly romantic about choosing adventure over expectation. Deanna and Stephanie did exactly that when they eloped in Lake Placid, tucked deep in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.

They rented the sweetest Airbnb, packed up their hiking boots, and yes, brought their cat along for the ride because obviously your family comes with you on a day like this.!
Their elopement wasn’t about timelines or traditions. It was about fresh air, big views, and choosing each other with intention.
And because these two are the definition of bold love, they went ziplining! Harnessed up, laughing, flying over the trees like the Adirondacks themselves were cheering them on. That’s the kind of energy I live for as an LGBTQ elopement photographer. Adventurous. Unapologetic. and so YOU.
What I loved most about photographing Deanna and Stephanie’s Lake Placid elopement was how grounded and intimate  it felt.
