When your brand has vision, energy, and a clear point of view—your photos should, too. That’s exactly what Carla Giorgio Consulting brought to the table for her on-location branding session at the TWA Hotel in NYC. As a marketing consultant, Carla knows how much visuals matter in building trust and recognition.
As her branding photographer, my goal was to help bring her brand to life in a way that felt strategic, stylish, and totally authentic to HER and the clients that she wants to attract.

As Carla puts it- she was made in NYC and really wanted that to reflect in her branding photos. The TWA Hotel was the perfect setting—full of bold lines, warm light, and mid-century charm that echoed Carla’s thoughtful yet confident energy. I worked closely with her to plan the session, helping to guide her with wardrobe, timing, and how we could use each part of the space to reflect a different aspect of her personality and business. I even brought in my daughter, a costume constructor studying at Emerson College in Boston to be our on site stylist for the session!

Because here’s the thing: branding photos shouldn’t just be “nice headshots.” They should feel like you—your vibe, your energy should jump right out the computer screen and immediately connect with the viewer!

When we work together, we’re building something more than content. We’re telling your story visually, and that means movement, genuine expression, a mix of pro and lifestyle shots, and all the space you need to show up fully and comfortably as yourself.

Why Go On Location for Your Branding Session?
On-location branding sessions allow us to root your photos in an environment that helps tell your story. Whether it’s a sleek hotel lobby, your favorite bookstore, a co-working space, or the city streets, where we photograph you really matters. Your location adds personality, creates variety, and helps you stand out in a sea of studio shots. And yes—I travel. From New York to New England and beyond, I’ll meet you where your story is unfolding.

5 Smart Ways to Use Your Branding Photos for Maximum Impact
You’re investing in your brand—so let’s get the most from your images. Here are five ways my clients love to use their branding photos:

- Website – Update your About page, contact page, and headers with dynamic images that show your face and your vibe.

- Social Media – Create a month’s worth of posts, reels, and stories that feel cohesive and real.

- LinkedIn + Bios – Refresh your headshots with polished yet approachable portraits that match your tone.

- Email Marketing – Pair personal storytelling with on-brand visuals for newsletters that feel engaging and professional.

- Press & Publicity – Whether you’re pitching yourself to podcasts, applying for grants, or booking speaking gigs, strong imagery helps you stand out.

Let’s Bring Your Brand to Life—Together
If you’ve been craving visuals that finally feel like you—let’s talk. I’ll help guide you from start to finish: choosing a location, planning outfits, nailing down your shot list, and making sure your session feels relaxed and fun. Your brand isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your photos shouldn’t be either.
