……part one of three of a crazy fun weekend of wedding shooting BLISS……
Scott and Nicole’s wedding at the Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook CT was nothing short of so much fun, beautiful light, beautiful location, the beach!!! And an awesome couple to boot! So we get there and Nicole is easing into the day- and by we I mean me, my steady second Mike and Miss Katie the Amazing karate chopping Slater!
So one of my favorite things to do? You know you know! Show you all where we are when we get some of the images we get! And how we get them! So before stepping on the bed, I asked Nicole, she said yes. There I am! All acrobatic!
MIss Katie is takin’ is low low low low low and organized some things and got her fancy awesome bouquet shot amidst the hustle and bustle of the day
Then Mike? He loves rocking his macro lens and got his simple, clean and awesome ring shot
You gotta take time to stop and smell the roses, you know what I’m saying. OR, shoot Nicole’s pretty heels in a kinda run of the mill hallway, no offense to the hallway or nuthin’ But it’s got pretty light going for it, that’s what it’s got!!
And baby, that is all I need!!

Nicole’s hair was like a sculpture, every pieces was in place and beautiful….
Her Mom was all a flutter when she really saw Nicole all ready… it’s one of my favorite things to see
Nicole’s friend and boss puts the finishing touches on her hair, he was amazing and SO smartly dressed I was kind of visually obsessed with him!! Watch.
I love how Nicole’s brother is in this frame too
All done! Celebrate with a CLAP!! Nicole’s sister is a cutie and the best part of the day was watching how tender Nicole was with her brother and sister.
I left feeling like a mean, jerky sister and want to be nice like Nicole to my siblings! God I hope they don’t read this now and expect me to….! ha ha

We had some time to meet up with the men folk, so I put Scott in flare’s way…. I love this shot of him!
And his very cooperative men!! This one makes me pretty happy too…

The inside details were all purple and pretty!!
All I’m saying? I am SO glad that Mike Katie and I LOVE our remote lighting! And yes that IS the moon in the bottom left of the frame!!!

Another favorite? When a bride or groom actually gets a chance to watch their spouse during their first dance! Let them be and let them just…..watch…. it’s such a nice moment for them to tag out and not be in the spotlight for a brief second
During the toasts there were lots of emotions…. Scott and Nicole have some really great friends

I have recently gotten interested in portraits and have done some of my daughter’s and her friends’. It is my cousin’s wedding next month and I just wanted to try some pictures during her wedding. Indian wedding pictures that I have seen are not this good in the sense that they are all posed and the groom and bride are sweaty because of the flashes that fall on them all the time. I love the way you have captured the essence of the moment and thanks for this page. I hope to capture some interesting moments too:)
