Finally I have this post done!!!And I say this in the best possible way- see I was feeling some major pressure to deliver here- only because Joe has become a close friend of not only me but the studio- he is a fellow photographer- so I was feeling the HEAT!! But those of you that know me? Know that I thrive on pressure and I love the thrill of competition! So I was like, game ON! Completely with myself, mind you. But I was still a little loud and a little rambunctious!

This adorable little ring bowl was by Paloma’s Nest, a studio fave!
The table numbers were all Joe’s photographs of numbers! Of course, I had to shoot the 10. Just CUZ!
And I know I am a fan of fruit in arrangements!!

I love how Erin’s earrings and ring compliment each other

Here Joe’s daughter looks on as Erin gets ready with the maids

Rebecca snags this sweet little ring detail

While not to be out done, Mike Romano grabs his- with the cork from the bottle of wine they shared on the night they were engaged

Now, for weddings that have the ceremony and reception at the same venue I am a BIG BIG believer of the First Look- this is where the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony and get all of their pictures done before hand s once they walk down the aisle they can enjoy time with their guests!
Here was my view of Joe and Erin’s first look

Here was Mike Romano’s shot on the left- then we started our portrait session!

On eof my favorite things about Great River is the cobblestones. Maybe I like it so much I lay down and snuggle with it? Maybe I DO! here Rebecca snagged a shot of what I looked like getting the shot on the right

While there we could meander around the greens a bit and grabbed some bridal party shots before taking off again but this time in the golf cart

The lovely maids and their lovely J Crew accessories

More of Joe’s images and gorgeous flowers by Hot Petunia

A combo of me and Rebecca to set the tone for the day

I got a little tricky on myself getting these shots! We had fun shooting in bright sunlight on an open golf course

Big big wide open expanses of sky are not all that common in New England unless you are on a hill, which I don’t find myself on often! So I worked this a bit

Just another excuse to lay down on the job is all

I got a thing with fountains and freezing the water in my frame…. I just can’t let it go!

Joe’s cute Mom with her grand kids. Come ON!!!!!

Here is what Mike and I look like shooting- the folowing images are what we got. Notice how we are shooting with different lenses- I have the 70-200 he is rocking the 24-70
Don’t we look cute

here is what I was thinking about

This is what Mike was thinking about, maybe a frame or two after Rebecca’s shot- he incorporated the railing

Back to me- man I LOVE this shot

OK. A little rant here!!
This is precisely why I will NEVER shoot with out a second shooter. Won’t do it, so please please don’t ask me. Mike Romano is about to get some love here! See if I were alone, I couldn’t really be here, since I would have needed to be some where else, like the top of the aisle with Joe, getting everyone coming down the aisle. And I would have missed this! Well. I did, Mike got this amazing moment with Erin and her Dad…

Not to be out done, we roll pretty deep here and Rebecca who will tag in and third shoot during the ceremony got this view of Erin and her Dad…

And now here I am, at the top going back and forth between Joe and Erin!! Double duty!!

Another pro second shooter mention: my shot was of their backs- this was Mike’s. Right??? Beautiful.

Mike’s shot of this was of their backs and this was my shot! See what I’m getting at here?

Yes, I got the first kiss but because Mike was on the side, I just love this composition so much more, it’s a great way to change it up!

But then I needed to be where I was because then I would have missed this! See if you can see where Mike is

And this! How cute are they

Their cake was beautiful as well!!

So Joe and Erin found us at another wedding we shot last year- one of my all time faves- Liz and Pepsi!
Let me tell you how many clients we get from weddings we shoot- guests are constantly watching how we work, how we interact with our couple and each other – so when they call us after seeing that I say job well done!
… and now for some photo booth fun!
I am super duper vain am am in most of these shots- sorry!!
Even Mike Romano and I can rock the modified prom pose!!

Erin and Joe, thank you both so so so so much for not only an incredible day but for your friendship!
Love you guys!
XOXO
