A few weeks back Mike and I had the pleasure of photographing Jennifer and Greg’s back yard wedding in Branford. Remember the weekend with the crazy TORNADO that came through our quaInt little state of CONNECTICUT?? What is going on with the weather these days where this becomes a reality here? Well that was Friday and so on Saturday the weather was still pretty touch and go- we heard huge scary booming thunder and saw some crazy weather alerts on our iphones…. and yet the day stayed on without one little rain drop!
Mike grabbed a nice scene setter here with some of the crazy clouds….
Jennifer’s family is really important to her, and there were many family photos to show their history around her parents home

The flower girl and ring bearer were just the cutest and of course Mike and I were excited to see the wedding through their eyes and experiences too
Their officiant is also a close friend, and I loved her reaction to seeing Jennifer in her gown for the first time

Jennifer and Greg provided these awesome toy baskets for all of the kids that were at the wedding- and inside were some really cool bubble blowers- which made photographing their portraits even more fun! Check me out in the bubble!
