She plays pink sparkly drums in a Cajun band. In Kansas. She’s tall. She laughs louder and harder than anyone I know. She is one of the best photographers I know. We have been through some of the most intense things that two friends can go through in tandem: we both lost a parent within a month of each other. We both have wild and nutty families and love to swap stories with our other great friend from RIT, Mary. If I could pick someone to be my sister? Well.
Let me introduce you to my dear friend Jaime.
And Carter? He can sing Journey better than Journey can sing Journey. He loves Jaime’s cat Blixie maybe even more than Jaime does. And he loves Jaime just the way that Jaime needs to be loved.
Their wedding? was at the FUN BARN! Her makeup artist? (who used to do makeup for the Miss America Pageant) Put most of her makeup on with her fingers, in like 12 minutes flat! I was absolutely mesmerized watching her do it

Carter, a talented musician and composer, wrote the processional music for Jaime
Carter and Jaime opted to do a first look, since light and time in between the ceremony and reception were tight. Something that more and more of my clients opt to do so they can just enjoy their party!
They ended up seeing each other before hand, but were not yet dressed for the wedding. It was a spontaneous, beautiful and natural moment.
Bonnie is one of a kind and I love her. I wish I had a Bonnie. ‘Jaime’s going Green!!!’ was what she just yelled
Their ceremony was at The Bartlett Arboretum in Belle Plaine Kansas. They got dressed in the ‘Garage Mahal’ come on!!
Robin, on the left, knows how to throw a party! I just loved every little detail she had out! She introduced Carter to Jaime when she was recording her album at his studio!
So after they saw each other we went around the Arboretum for some pictures

For her wedding gift to Carter, she gave him one of her father’s guitars that she fixed up special just for him

During their wedding they played a set with their band! Jaime on the drums, Carter on the fiddle and singing!
The accordion player, Greg, is married to the washboard player who is so freaking cute! And pregnant with their third little one! Talk about being lulled to sleep under a washboard, right?
