WARNING: This blog has been hijacked!
That’s right folks. I have the secret URL, I have the username, I have the password and I’m IN. With this much control I could really do some damage – maybe post an embarrassing photo or two – but I will use my better judgment.
I’m actually here to make my first official post on Carla’s blog as a studio photographer, and I could not be more excited. It’s a privilege to be part of such a talented team of creative people, and especially to be working for someone whose work I have admired for so long.
Last month I was honored to shoot my first wedding for the studio. In the face of cold temperatures and wind driven rain, I had two of the most enthusiastic and composed clients. A classic nor’easter was no match for Amy and Jeffrey. With umbrellas, rain boots, a “first look” in a parking garage and even a rainbow, this wedding had ‘awesome’ written all over it. Congratulations Amy and Jeffrey, and thank you for making my first Carla Ten Eyck wedding a blast!
Special thanks to the super talented Jim Altieri for shooting with me. Check out some of his great shots below and be sure to visit his blog.

I love this shot of Amy’s dad looking on.
And then a rainbow!
These next few shots of the guys are all from Jim. He stepped out for a few minutes to photograph them getting ready and came back with some great stuff.
After Amy and Jeff’s first look we headed to Cranbury Park in Norwalk for some more photos.
I love this candid that Jim grabbed. Did I mention it was windy?
These guys were real troopers!
A little bit of video light . . .
. . . and a little bit of off-camera flash.
And finally to the Inn at Longshore.

Awesome. Just awesome. So many different (as in unique) places and lighting set ups and you-name-it–killer.
no way! can’t believe they trusted you so much that they did the first look in a parking garage, that’s awesome!!
The portraits are awesome! I really like the parking garage and the stone architecture. Keep up the great work!
